Maud Designs embellishes anything with a surface: from clothes to
phones, and blenders to dollhouses. We also work with other
designers to help make their visions a reality. Our specialty,
though, is creating a leather belt or purse from the ground up. Maud

Maud Designs is the namesake of Violet Maud Teasley who founded the company after she worked 14 years with Australian-born/L.A.-based designer Michael Morrison (of MX Inc.). Clients of MX Inc. included Madonna, Michael, Janet, and Latoya Jackson, Gianni Versace, LL Cool J, Elton John, Cameron Diaz, Daryl Hannah, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Liza Minelli, Selena, Jody Watley, and Herbie Hancock. After Michael returned to Australia to pursue other talents, Violet opened her own business with her daughter, Laura, in 1998.
